Hi, Guys! I am in Calais for the weekend, where I stay at my aunt’s house. I needed a break from daily life and I found this to be the perfect opportunity to blow some air! Here are some pictures of this weekend:
Hotspot of the city: Le Tunisien, a food truck at the beach of Calais where you can eat the famous Tunisian sandwich (Tuna, Israeli salad type of salad, and lots of harissa (if you can handle it ;-)). This place has been in Calais since 1968 and is famous for its typical Maghrebian donuts called Sfenj (must try!!!). Unfortunately, they only make the donuts from 3 PM on and even though the guy was that friendly to invite us for free donuts, we had no time to wait up to taste them, as it was only 2 PM.
When I am in France, one of the first things I do is shopping in a supermarket. I have a shoplog coming up, so you will see what I have bought, but two things that I will not be able to show you, because, let’s be honest, these babies will be K.O. by the time I film the shoplog, is: ICE CREAM! I bought this delicious pint of Daim and a pint of Haägen Dazs: Macadamia Nut Brittle. Other pints of ice cream I found was Ben & Jerry’s Speculoos and Ben & Jerry’s Peanut Butter. I truly wanted them all, but let’s face it, I cannot bring them back home and cannot eat them all in one weekend.
The look I had this weekend is unfortunately barely visible on this picture, but I have found some new favorites in my makeup stash: Garnier Ambre Solaire BB Cream, Rimmel Natural Bronzer, Catrice – Papagena Absolute Eye Colour Quattro (Limited Edition), Dark lips (not on this picture). The jewelry I am wearing this weekend and is definitely one of my favorites too are my two evil eye bracelets I got this week, one has no brand and I got it on Aliexpress and the other is from Juicy Couture.
I hope you liked my plog from this weekend. I did not do that much else than eating out all-you-can-eat Chinese and eating Paëlla at my aunt’s home, ice cream and some more ice cream and croissants and baguette, went to the mall (Cité Europe, Calais), and visit my grandmother.
Until Next Time,
Love | Sarah K.
